His joy was in the children, he loved for them to visit, and they loved him dearly. ![]() He could always be counted on to give a helping hand. He was an active member of both the Masonic Lodge and the Shriner's. He loved anything to do with the outdoors from fishing to hunting. Harvey worked at the fish plant in Marystown and Grace at the hospital. Harvey was born November 14, 1936, on Fogo Island, he worked there for 22 years in the lumber woods and relocated to Burin 45 years ago where he and his beloved wife made a great life for themselves. Predeceased by Parents Richard and Elizabeth and beloved son Gary. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his Wife Grace of 62 years sons Donald (Eva Nippard) of Burin, Clyde (Barbara) of NS, Tony (Cathy) of NS and Kevin (Kim) of NS grandchildren Terri, Mark, Samantha, Brian, Melissa, Christopher, Chad, Andrew and Megan 8 great grandchildren sisters Rita Coles and Elizabeth Cull of Fogo Island brothers Reginald, Ross (Rowena) And Frank (Evelyn) all of Fogo Island plus a large circle of other family and friends. It is with great sadness the family of Harvey Waterman of Ship Cove, Burin announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Hospital on January 14th, 2022, at the of 85. ![]()
